Ivan Diyak: «NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine» will defend the state interests at negotiations with RJSC «Gazprom»»

«NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine» at negotiations with RJSC «Gazprom» concerning agreement about the main conditions of the subsequent development of relations in gas sphere will defend the state interests» - Ivan Diyak, the adviser of head of NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine», a member of Kiev international energy club «Q-club» has declared. According to the expert, «that agreement between «NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine» and RJSC «Gazprom» which was quoted by the INTERNET-Mass Media on the eve of gas negotiations of prime minister Julia TIMOSHENKO in Moscow some Ukrainian was quoted by the INTERNET-Mass Media, does not contain offers of Ukraine and is not definitive».

The expert has reminded, that «according to conditions of the gas memorandum which has been signed by Y.TIMOSHENKO and V.PUTIN in Moscow on October, 2nd, all its positions will be included into commercial contracts between managing subjects - that is NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine» and RJSC «Gazprom».

Diyak has expressed «satisfaction with the fact of signing of the memorandum». In his opinion, «the document solves four principle questions». «It is guaranted to Ukraine that RJSC «Gazprom» will provide balance of gas, and also the three-year period for adaptation to gradual increase of the prices for gas» is presented - the expert marks. At the same time, «the sides have agreed about gradual increase of the prices for transit of the Russian gas by territory of Ukraine». Besides, «the memorandum names the unique buyer of gas in territory of Ukraine NJSC «Naftogaz of Ukraine», Diyak reminds. Last arrangement, on his belief, «will provide national interests of the country in the internal gas market».
